What is Applied Philosophy?
The great questions, asked through virtual worlds

Applied Philosophy takes the canonical frameworks of Western and Eastern philosophical tradition — existentialism, absurdism, stoicism, phenomenology, ethics — and asks what happens when those frameworks meet fictional lives lived under conditions of unusual philosophical clarity. Games and anime, freed from the obligations of realism, can stage philosophical problems with a precision that ordinary life rarely permits. The frameworks are real. The characters who embody them are not. The insight is.
